The Waiting Game

I've been wanting to start up a blog to allow friends & family to follow the adventures of baby Funt, and now that I've got not much else to do but wait for the little guy or gal to make an entrance, figure now's as good a time as any to get it started!

For the first post, I'll put up some pictures of baby Funt's nursery as it looks today. We'll fill the walls with pictures and some color (pink if a girl, and orange/brown if a boy) once the baby's born.

Figure I'll be spending LOTS of time in
this chair :)
Changing table all stocked-up with diapers,
wipes, blankets, etc. We are ready!
I stole most of the inspiration for the room (blue-ish walls, white/cream furniture, neutral curtains, chair, etc.) from my girlfriend Erika. She had a girl last August and the room looks great now with all pops of pink and family photos. Who says blue is just for boys?!

As for the rest of the family, our pup Franklin, who just turned 1 a couple weeks ago, is also eager to meet his little brother or sister. This morning he snuggled up to the rocker/sleeper we've had in our room for a few weeks now. We're hoping he'll get acclimated to the new baby pretty quickly :)

And Josh and I are catching up on our zzz's and enjoying our last few quiet days & nights together. While we're eager to end the waiting game and meet this little baby that we've been watching grow for 9 long months, we're so happy that we've had such a great pregnancy, and just hope that whenever baby Funt is ready to make his/her arrival, he/she's healthy and happy :) And of course, likes dogs...
